Find My Pit ("we", "us") operates findmypit.com, an Irish gig-listing and band-profile platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR.
Find My Pit is based in Ireland. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@findmypit.com.
Gig submissions. When you submit a gig via the submit form, we collect your name and email address. This is necessary to process your submission — we need to know who submitted a gig to follow up on queries and to prevent abuse. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: maintaining a reliable gig-listing service requires knowing who submitted each entry.
Band profiles. When you claim or manage a band profile, we collect your email address (to verify your identity and send the sign-in link) and the display name you set during onboarding (shown to you in the site navigation). Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: managing band ownership and preventing fraudulent claims requires verified contact details.
We set a single session cookie managed by Supabase, our authentication provider. This cookie keeps you signed in and is required for the band-profile features to function. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are set.
Our site is hosted on Netlify (EU CDN). Your personal data (name and email address) is stored in our database hosted by Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany — within the European Economic Area.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@findmypit.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
